The Journey of Mudit Jain
Mudit Jain is a guy who was born & brought up in Delhi. He had done a lot of hard work during his journey.
He first cleared the exam in 2014. This was the first time he gave the exam & he cleared it on his own. He got 222nd rank in CSE 2014. He was selected as an IPS officer. After then he filled the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for CSE 2015 till the month of September or October. Then he gave CSM 2015 & joined the national police academy for his IPS training.
While he was doing his training he got injured. After the two weeks of training, he got injured with ligament tear first in right knee. Still, he continues his training which results in the ligament tear in the left knee also. But after all the difficulties he still continued the training till March 2016. After that, he took extraordinary leave (EOL) because of his injury.
Then the result of 2017 came in May 2016 & he secured 207th rank & again got selected for IPS. But he cannot join IPS because of his injury. Then he decided that he will give another attempt. The results of prelims will be declared in Sept 2016 but unfortunately, he was not able to clear the prelims. He flunked the prelims only by 2 marks.
He was still injured, didn’t able to clear the exam & he had to take EOL again. He was injured but he has to clear the IPS training in 3 attempts. So he gave the technical resignation from 68rr & he joined 69rr & again he took EOL due to his injury.

He started preparing for CSE 2017. He was the topper in GS in 2014 & 2015. But he has to work hard as he was studying the subject after 2 years. At the same time, he was working on his injury also. He was doing all the possible things to overcome the injury. After sometime when he did his MRI & nuclear bone scans & he got to know that he is diagnosed with the Osteoarthritis (OA) within the 3-4 sections which wears down his cartilage. And all these things result in another EOL.
In December 2017 he thought that he will help all the candidates who are preparing for CSE as he had gained an experience in it. So he started his YouTube channel & his own word press blog. He also joined quora to help other aspirants.
Then the results of CSE came & he secured 173rd rank which gave him a relaxation. This rank will help him to switch to IRS & save his career. After seeing his name on the list he got mixed feelings as he didn’t top the examination but it will help him to go further in his career.
