   • It did not brought the BRI – Belt Road Initiative issue where India didnt participated.

   • • Engage with positive discussion for the border issues.
     • Start the long pending Border Special Representative meetings.
     • We need to wait and watch the china’s action of terrorist – Masood Azhar move.

1. National Nutritional Strategy , 2017  formalized
   • Aimed to full fill demand of basic nutrition supply.
   • It aims for Kuposhan Mukt Bharat – linked to swatch bharat, swasth bharat.
   • Currently there is no measurement for determinants.
   • Govt will focus on behavioural change and create district level action plan to work on priority basis.
2. The Code on Wages, 2017 – No minimum wage in the law
   • The Minimum wage bill 2017 was recently introduced in LS.
   • It will replace all the old laws :-
   • • The Payment Wages Act, 1936
     • Minimum wage act 1949
     • Payment of Bonus Act, 1965
     • Equal Remuneration Act 1976.
   • New Code will apply for all industry, trade business, manufacturing including gov establishment.
   • Minimum Wage Options
   • • Govt may fix national minimum wage which wont be same for state to state basis, they can fix their own based on factors evaluating.
     • Woring hours, timings, over time etc would also be fixed.
     • Also wage decided by central gov or state gov wont be less then National Minium Wage.
3. Diksha Port Being launched for teachers by MHRD to –
   • Provide digital infrastructure to teachers.
   • It will enable teacher to make the digital content, learn, train themselves, teacher profile, in-class resources etc.
4. India Worried About Slow Progress of RCEP Talks
   • Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership which include the 10 ASEAN Nations plus and 6 states other states – Australia, china india japan, south korea, and New Zealand.
   • Most of the Countries are worried about their own market – however india is more focused upon opening the service sector as well.
5. New Propsed Under water Pipe Line from Iran to Gujrat 
   • 1,300km pipe line to be made under sea from Iran to Oman then Gujrat which will be almost half cheaper then doestically available LNG.
   • This will replace old – Iran -Pakistan-India Piple which is being stopped.
   • • It was planned from South Pars Gas to Pakistan to India
     • It was estimated cost $7 Bllion.
6. India China need proper LAC to be demarcated.
   • LAC starts from Karakoram pass to Arunachal,
   • There are 8 instances where it is passed on by word os mouths which lead to regular confrontations.
   • • Asaphila, Longju, Namka Chu, Sumdorong Chu, Yangste in AP.
     • Barahoti in utrakhand.
     • Aksai China and DEmchok in Ladakh.
   • Way Ahead :
   • • Regular meetings to be held.
     • Confidence Building Measures (CBM) have to be conducted.
     • Hotline between two militaries have to be created.
