Family Life
Anupam Shukla belongs to Patna. He secured 10th rank and become a national topper. It is a very prestigious rank. It was his third attempt towards his dream. He belongs to Patna. His family used to live in Lucknow but later on, they shifted to Patna and become the resident of Patna.
His father DK Shukla is also a government officer. He is a Principal Chief Conservator of Forests. His father is also posted in Patna. He always motivated his son towards the Civil Services. His mother is a house maker. She played an important role in his success. She used to tell his son to be prepared for every situation and fight against it.
He is a native of Patna and currently he is posted as an Assistant Conservator of forests in Lucknow. In one of his interviews, he gave the credit of his success to his father he stated that “Since my father is a commonwealth scholar so I have also got an opportunity to study for four years in University of Wales. During my stay at Wales, I used to play rugby on regular basis”.
He wants to do something for his state so he opted Bihar as his cadre. He wants to develop scientific temperament between the people for the development of the state.

Educational Background
He is a well-educated person and from his starting days, he knew the importance of education. So, he always focused on his studies. He did his schooling from 1st to 5th class in England and after that, he moved to India and pursue his education here only.
He completed his 6th to 10th class from DAV School at Muzaffarpur. After that, he changed his school and completed his studies at Patna Central School, Bailey Road.
As he was a good student so he got an admission in Delhi University. He completed his graduation from Hindu College of Delhi University. He was the college topper of Physics. He always loved physics and he also proved this passion by topping the exam.

In his interviews when media asked him to give suggestions to the candidates who are preparing for CSE then he gave the following suggestions:
Do not take it the preparation as burden
Never take your preparation as burden, if you will take it as a burden you can never be able to happily achieve your success. If you want to make your dream reality then you have to enjoy the journey towards your success.
So always b positive and enjoy your preparation. Always stay interested in your preparation.
Do not stress over exam
If you have prepared well then you don’t have to be stressed for your exam. An exam is also the path of your journey so you have to take a step to it. The exam is a part of your success, you have to give your best during your preparation.
Study during daytime
Most of us have a habit of sleeping in the daytime and studying at night time. It depends on person to person but you also have to stay healthy during your preparation. If you will utilize the daytime properly and sleep or relax at night then you will feel fresh.
If you will feel fresh then you can prepare well. So, start sleeping at night study during the daytime.
Do not lose hope over failure
If we fail in some starting attempts then we have a habit to quit or to give up. We took failure as the end of our career. But it is not true, your failure teaches you the lesson which you have to identify. Your failure tells you your mistakes and weaknesses you just have to make more efforts and convert your weaknesses into strengths.
