So the most awaited result of UPSC Civil Services Examination is out. This year results came with some other brilliant toppers & their motivational journeys. This year Anudeep Durishetty topped the highly prestigious exam with his hard work & dedication.

Anudeep Durishetty is currently working as an Assistant Commissioner at Indian Revenue Services (IRS), Government of India. This was his 5th attempt for the UPSC. He is cleared the UPSC CSE with the Anthropology as his optional subject.

In 2013 when he gave the exam, he got 790th rank & selected in IRS. At that time his main marks were not that good but his interviews marks were excellent. At that time his interview marks become the reason for his selection at IRS.

Anudeep’s family always supported his decision for the UPSC. He didn’t get succeeded in some of his attempts but he never gets disheartened by his failures, in fact, he identifies his mistakes & worked on it. Anudeep’s father is currently working as an Assistant Engineer at the TS Transco. His mother is a housewife but she also played an important role during his preparation.

He was previously working with the Google at Hyderabad. After leaving this job he got into the Indian Revenue Services. His journey from a Google employee to an IAS Officer is totally motivational. He never stops doing hard work that is why he is able to achieve his dreams.

There are many people who settle for less. But Anudeep is not one of them, after getting selected at IRS he continued his preparation & never thought to stop here. His aim was to become an IAS officer & he achieved this after doing a lot of hard work.

Anudeep belongs to OBC category. He is from Metpally, Telangana. He completed his schooling in Telanga. And after that, he has done his graduation in B.E. (Electronics & Instrumentation) from BITS, Pilani in Rajasthan.

After becoming a national topper in one of his interviews he said:
“This is my fifth attempt. I have failed thrice before, and the journey was not easy for me.
It is a tough exam and so many deserving candidates with brilliant minds attempt. So you can never expect a top rank.
I am really happy to get this result today. I am grateful to all the people who supported me throughout. It wasn’t an easy journey, but I am happy to be here.
My family has been my backbone and if I did not have their support, I would not have been able to top the examinations.”
