Jasmeet made his dream come true by his dedication, simplicity and hard work and the will to never give up. He has done hard work in a simple manner to make his dream reality.
UPSC IAS is one of the toughest examinations in India. He becomes the national topper of UPSC by securing 3rd rank all over India. He is currently an IAS officer. He cracked the exam in 2015.

EARLY LIFE & FAMILY BACKGROUND
Jasmeet comes from a well-educated family. His family always supported him during his preparation. His parents never give him the pressure to join any other job when he doesn’t clear the exam in 2 attempts.
His family lives in Rabinder Nagar, Delhi. His father is also a government officer. He is a member of FASAL KRANTI Magazine, DDG, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Jasmeet’s mother is a housewife. His mother is an inspiration to him of a hardworking person.
When Jasmeet got the 3rd rank in all over India, he didn’t believe it because he thought that his exam was not so well and he was not expecting to get any rank. But as we all know Hard work is the key to Success. He made it true, he cracked the UPSC exam this time because of his hard work and simplicity.
After getting 3rd rank, he thanked his parents and teachers for his successful journey. He said that “It is all because of my family, friends and Mukul Pathak Sir that I secure the third rank in the exam”. Mukul Pathak sir is the one who runs a coaching class for the students who are preparing for UPSC examination.
Jasmeet is a very hardworking person and he is very down to earth. He was interested in civil services from his younger days. He always wanted to serve the nation his best and his hard work. He always wanted to do something for our country towards its growth.
During his interview he told a media person that: “It feels incredible. I still can’t believe that I have got 3rd rank in UPSC exam. I am very excited and waiting for a new learning experience. My success mantra is hard work is the key to success. IAS was always my first option”.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
He was born in Punjab but later on, his family shifted to Delhi. He completed his schooling at Sacred Heart Convent School, Ludhiana. He was a science student and he was interested in technology. He is a person who is always ready to learn.
After completing his schooling he opted for Engineering. He is an engineer from IIT-Roorkee. He was a bright student in his batch.
When he completed his graduation, he knew what he wants from his career. So, he started preparing for UPSC examination in 2010 to convert his dream into reality.

STRUGGLE
He has done a lot of hard work to reach this level. He always wanted to become an IAS officer but it is not easy for him to make his dream reality.
He has given the exam thrice before 2015. He was not able to clear the exam in his first two attempts but he never gives up doing hard work.
He again gave the exam in 2010 and luckily he got selected for IRS, but IRS is not what he wants. He wants to become an IAS officer so how could he settle for less, if he wants more. But he started working as an Assistant Commissioner in IRS and side by side he was preparing for the examination also.
When he gave the exam in 2015, his hard work speaks. He topped the exam by getting AIR 3 and made his parents proud. So, according to him you should never quit and never give up doing hard work. Everything will happen at right time.

STRATEGY
He told that, his strategy behind his preparation is the hard work. He said anyone can clear it by doing hard work. He started preparing for UPSC Examination in 2010. But he couldn’t make it in his first two attempts. But he cracked the exam in his third attempt.
He joined a coaching class for his preparation. He regularly goes to his classes and tries not to miss any class. He didn’t have a hectic schedule of his studies. His coaching classes helped him a lot in teaching him the way what he has to do, what is more important for the examination and what will be the pattern of the examination.
He does not have a fixed schedule for his studies. He used to read NCERT books which helped him by getting a rough idea of everything he wants to study for his preparation. He used to read a newspaper daily to get general knowledge and to remain updated about what is happening around him. He daily makes notes from the newspaper and used to revise it in regular interval of time.

MOTIVATION
He is a motivation to all the candidates who are preparing for UPSC Exams. He motivated people by saying that anyone from any background can clear the exam by taking care of following things.
1. Hard work
As he said he always believed that hard work is the key to Success. So never stop doing hard work unless you are not satisfied by your result. Hard work can make you achieve your dreams. If you want to achieve your dreams so, you have to sweat, you have to be determined and focused.
2. Never Quit
Quitting is not an option. You have to make your spirit dedicated and learn to never give up. Stay focused on your path. Your never quitting spirit will lead you to a successful life. There will be some hard time which is not easy but you have to learn from that time.

Jasmeet is the motivation to all the people who give up because of his/ her failure. Failure always helps you to learn a new experience. Failure always teaches you a new lesson.
So all the candidates always stay motivated and never stop doing hard work.
